How We Work

This is what a project with Nextsoft Corp looks like: from the first conversation to continuous delivery, with no surprises along the way.

Free assessment, written proposal, 2-week sprints, and support after delivery.

The process, in 4 phases

A clear process so you always know what's next and what you get at each stage.

Free assessment

We respond to your message within 24 business hours and schedule a 30-minute video call to understand your operation and the real problem, not just the symptom.

What you get: A clear picture of the problem and an honest recommendation — if we're not the right fit, we tell you and point you to alternatives.

Proposal

If there's a fit, we prepare a detailed proposal within 48-72 hours, with the architecture designed to solve the real problem, not a generic template.

What you get: A written document with scope, an estimated timeline, and an engagement model. See "What gets agreed in the proposal" below.

2-week sprints

We work in short sprints with deliveries you can see and test. We adjust on the fly based on your feedback, without heavy change requests for reasonable scope adjustments.

What you get: Functional progress every 2 weeks: continuous visibility, not a single delivery at the end of the project.

Production and ongoing support

We don't disappear after delivery. We train your team and offer monthly support and maintenance plans that include bug fixes, security updates, and improvements.

What you get: Your system running in production, your team trained to operate it, and an ongoing support plan.

Estimated timelines: simple projects take 4 to 8 weeks; complex projects, 3 to 6 months. For AI projects, the first working prototype is usually ready in 2 to 3 weeks, with full production implementation typically in 4 to 8 weeks. These are general estimates — your project's specific timeline is put in writing in the proposal.

What you get in the free assessment

Before there's any commitment, here's exactly how the first conversation works.

  1. Before

We respond within 24 business hours and schedule a 30-minute video call.

Helpful to have on hand (optional):

    • A brief description of your process or problem
    • Your current systems
    • Relevant constraints (budget, integrations, compliance)
    • The timeline you have in mind
  2. During the video call

    • We understand the business problem
    • We review the technical context
    • We identify if there's a fit and give you initial recommendations
    • We give you an initial estimate, with no commitment
  3. After

If there’s a fit: a detailed proposal in 48–72 hours, including:

    • Project scope
    • Deliverables
    • Estimated timeline
    • Engagement model

If there isn't a fit: we tell you honestly and, when applicable, point you toward alternatives.

No cost and no commitment.

Work models

The process above applies to the two models we work under, with different scopes and levels of integration with your team.

Custom project

A defined scope from start to finish: assessment, proposal, development in sprints, and going live, following the process described above.

Our own product in a pilot program

Beyond client projects, we build our own products. Today: AI sales order automation, with 100% human review during the pilot.

What you get at each stage

A summary of the qualitative deliverables at each phase of the process.

StageWhat you get
Free assessmentA clear picture of the problem and an honest recommendation, at no cost and no commitment.
ProposalA written document with scope, estimated timeline, and engagement model.
2-week sprintsReviewable functional progress every 2 weeks.
ProductionA running system, a trained team, and an ongoing support plan.

Communication

How we keep you informed while your project moves forward.

Cadence and direct access

  • You review functional progress at the close of every sprint, every 2 weeks.
  • Direct access to senior profiles: the people building your solution are the ones keeping you updated, with no intermediaries in between.

Channels and response times

  • Email and contact form: we respond within 24 business hours.
  • WhatsApp: we reply during business hours.
  • A 30-minute video call for the initial assessment, and for reviews when the project calls for it.

When we are not the best option

Transparency also means telling you when another provider might serve you better.

  • —You're looking for the lowest price per hour, regardless of the seniority of the people working on your project.
  • —You need a large consultancy with hundreds of people working on-site.
  • —You want a one-off landing page or simple website built with a template builder.
  • —You need a fixed, closed price without a discovery phase, for a scope that isn't defined yet.

If your case is one of these, we'll tell you honestly during the initial assessment and, when we can, point you to alternatives.

What gets agreed in the proposal

The estimates we share during the initial assessment are indicative. The final terms of each project are agreed in writing in the proposal or the corresponding contract, including:

  • Project scope — defined in writing in each proposal/contract.
  • Deliverables — defined in writing in each proposal/contract.
  • Estimated timeline — defined in writing in each proposal/contract.
  • Engagement model — defined in writing in each proposal/contract.
  • Intellectual property — defined in writing in each proposal/contract.
  • Post-delivery support — defined in writing in each proposal/contract.
  • Confidentiality — defined in writing in each proposal/contract.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about how we work, before you start a project with us.

How long does the initial assessment take, and does it cost anything?

It's free. We respond to your message within 24 business hours and schedule a 30-minute video call to understand your needs. There's no commitment: if we're not the right fit, we tell you honestly and point you to alternatives.

How do I see progress on my project while it is being built?

We work in 2-week sprints with deliveries you can see and test. You don't wait until the project ends to know how it's going — you have continuous visibility starting with the first sprint.

What happens if requirements change during the project?

It's normal, and it's expected. Short sprints let us incorporate changes without drama. We don't apply heavy change requests for reasonable scope adjustments.

Who owns the code, and how is intellectual property handled?

That's a point that gets defined in writing in each proposal or contract, along with the rest of the engagement terms. We don't publish a general term here because it depends on the scope and model of each project.

Do you offer support after the project is delivered?

Yes. We offer monthly support and maintenance plans that include bug fixes, security updates, small improvements, and technical support. We don't disappear after delivery.

What if my project doesn't fit the way you work?

We tell you honestly during the initial assessment, with no pressure and no cost. When we can, we point you to more suitable alternatives for your case.

How does a legacy system modernization project work?

It is delivered together with specialized strategic partners. The legacy migration itself is carried out by our specialized partner; Nextsoft delivers new modules, integrations with other systems, frontend and QA, and is your single point of contact throughout the project. The split of tasks and the estimated schedule are defined in the proposal.
